This camera is very user friendly and easy to use for those who enjoy point-and-shoot, but also great for those who like to use all manual settings. The photos are excellent and sharp the guide mode is perfect for beginner to intermediate photographers. This camera has a great array of all of the professional (options) to fine tune the perfect shot with Active D-Lighting (d=dynamic) it literally shoots with active d lighting or can be edited with D-Lighting in the camera pre transfer. The auto focus is quite fast and also having vibration reductions.
Overall this camera is a good choice for both beginners and intermediate photographers.
